Overview
Focuus is an iPhone focus app that turns whatever you are avoiding into one small next step. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the third-party providers we use.
Account data
Your account is identified by your email address. Your password is stored as a salted hash, never in plain text. Account authentication is handled by Supabase, our authentication provider.
AI coach messages
The messages you write to the AI coach are sent to an AI model provider to generate a reply. Focuus routes these requests through OpenRouter, which in turn routes to inference providers. We route only to providers that do not collect or train on your data. Your messages are used to generate your reply and are not sold or shared for advertising.
Usage data
We store your missions, focus sessions, XP and coach usage, associated with your account. Focus sessions are validated on the server against the clock so progress reflects real time spent focusing.
Transactional email
We send transactional email through Resend for account confirmation and password recovery. We do not send marketing newsletters.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions and payments are managed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your card details. Billing is handled entirely through your Apple ID.
Analytics
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and its associated data, email support@focuus.app from the address tied to your account. We will confirm once the deletion is complete. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Children
Focuus is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
